Interaction Semantics Consistency in Cross-Platform Design

In this position paper we discuss some issues related to continuity in cross-platform design, including when it addresses platforms supporting different modalities. We argue that one key aspect is to be able to support continuity in terms of interaction semantics for those tasks that are deemed meaningful in the target platforms. We also discuss a method for interface transformation from desktop to mobile platform following this approach
